Coarse debris filter suitable for pre-treatment of stormwater.

The EcoScreen Saphir is an innovative coarse-debris filter specifically designed for the pretreatment of stormwater. Thanks to its high-performance screening technology and optimized flow guidance, leaves, debris, sediments, and other solids ≥ 5 mm are reliably retained. This reduces the load on downstream treatment systems and minimizes their maintenance requirements. The tangential inlet creates a hydrodynamic flow that ensures effective settling of heavy particles. In the flow-calmed sediment trap, the integrated flow breakers prevent the remobilization of already settled materials. To prevent clogging, the EcoScreen Saphir features a filter area geometry more than 15 times larger than the inlet cross-section. This ensures uniform flow and guarantees reliable filtration even at high flow rates. Additionally, the integrated bypass is equipped with a protective grille, ensuring 100% retention of coarse solids ≥ 5 mm at all times.
