✓ Where excavation isn’t possible on-site due to limited access or poor ground conditions

What is a Klaro Container One?

Klaro Container One is a temporary or permanent wastewater treatment system built into a shipping container for above-ground operation and easy installation. The Klaro Container One utilises the One SBR process technology in a single chamber, which achieves high treatment efficiency despite being in a single chamber performing different functions over two 12-hour cycles per day.

It starts with a basic shipping container, which is structurally reinforced to withhold the forces of the wastewater. There is a dividing wall installed on one end with a control room for the components required to operate the system. The inside of the container is then sprayed with Polyurea, which is a rubber elastic chemical material to totally seal and make it watertight.

The systems are available in single containers from 45PE to 230PE in 10ft, 20ft and 40ft containers. For larger systems up to 1150PE, multiple containers can be connected to increase the volume of wastewater treated.

The containers come pre-fitted with the required inlet, outlet and interconnecting pipework for easy installation on-site; they are plug-and-play.

Railings are fitted around the top of the containers and access steps to avoid any accidents when accessing the manhole covers to inspect the inside of the container.

For more advanced wastewater treatment, we can also supply the following:

• Inlet sieve screw to remove solids over a certain size
• Chemical dosing to reduce phosphorus or carbon to cater for longer non-use periods
• Chlorination for some countries where re-use of effluent is allowed for irrigation etc
• UV Disinfection to remove pathogens
